main opposition republican peoples’ party (chp) leader kemal kılıçdaroğlu started walking from ankara towards istanbul on june 15 after chp deputy enis berberoğlu was arrested by an istanbul court. thousands joined kılıçdaroğlu in his 25-days and 420-kms long walk. the walk ended in istanbul’s maltepe with a massive justice meeting where kılıçdaroğlu called on the ak party government and erdoğan to end oppression on the judiciary and civil society.
